Congratulations to AACUS autonomous helicopter team (ONR, Near Earth Autonomy, Aurora Flight Sciences, CMU) for winning the 2018 Howard Hughes Award and being nominated for the prestigious Collier Trophy awarded for the greatestachieivement in aeronautics or astronautics in America.

AirLab led development of the motion planning architecture for the AACUS project sponsored by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to develop full-scale autonomous helicopters.
