Anish is a PhD student at the GRASP lab at University of Pennsylvania, working with Nikolai Matni and Vijay Kumar. While a Masters student in the AirLab, he focused on UAV aerial manipulation and was team lead for the CMU Team Tartan entry in the MBZIRC 2020 competition. His thesis was titled Toward Increased Airspace Safety: Quadrotor Guidance for Targeting Aerial Objects. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
His research interests span multi-robot planning, learning for robot control, and autonomy in challenging environments.
