Helen Wang is a Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering with passions for aviation, product design, eletric vehicle and robotics.

Helen’s research focuses on understanding the limits of UAV-based active thermography for inspecting subsurface defects in aviation assets.

In her free time, she likes to snowboard at the mountains in the winter, hangout by the lake in the summer, other than that, she likes to play with composites and build a prototype at the makerspace.
