Joon is a Master’s student in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests include spatial AI, multi-modal (phyiscial and visual) representation, and reasoning.

Previously, Joon had worked on improving the safety and quality of commercial airplane manufacturing at Boeing, and autonomous drone inspection at Nearthlab. Joon graduated from KAIST, with a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering.

In his free time, he loves running, watching movies, and reading books.
