Haowen is a master’s student majoring in Electrical Engineering (Automation) in Tsinghua University. His research field mainly covers 3D Localization and Perception, SLAM, Point Cloud Registration and their application in Robotics. He is trying to apply computer vision and machine learning techniques to robotics so as to make robots more intelligent and smart in understanding the environment and performing safe navigation. Now he focuses on large-scale maps fusion with no prior information of their relative transformation and low overlap rate.
For recreation and sports, he enjoys music, movies and badminton.
