He has had a specialized career in Aircraft and Undersea vehicle design, aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, propulsion, and vehicle stability and control. He leads design, analysis, fabrication, and experimentation at various model scales including experimentally-based scaling laws, computational analysis, field testing and full-scale results, He has a passion for aviation and aeronautics, teaching and working with younger engineers and researchers both as a mentor and as a colleague.
