Junyi (Jenny) Geng

Postdoctoral Fellow

Jenny was a Postdoctoral Fellow of Robotic Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Before that, she was a Postdoc researcher of Coordinated Science Lab at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign working on robotic manipulation for high precision assembly. She received her B.Eng. in Aircraft Design and Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. She is enthusiastic about robotics and unmanned aerial system (UAS). In the AirLab, she worked on a VTOL UAS project and aerial manipulation. Jenny is also interested in perception, optimization and machine learning and applying them on hardware. Jenny is a remote pilot for UAS. She loves flying drones and building robots.
