Guilherme Marcelo is a visitor at the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. He is pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon, and is conducting his thesis work at the AirLab. He received his BSc in Computer Science from the University of Lisbon in 2024, and has worked as a software and research engineer at TEKEVER since 2020.
His research interests center on distributed embodied intelligence. He is particularly interested in learning-based methods for perception, mission-critical robotics, trustworthy machine learning, and risk-aware deployment of AI.
