Jay is a first-year MS in Robotics student at Carnegie Mellon University. He graduated from BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus,with a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics.

Jay’s current research is focused on developing place recongition and odometry pipelines for SLAM. He holds a deep interest in Learning for 3D Vision and perception. When he is not working, you can catch him going for long runs, hiking, or playing the piano.
