Seungchan Kim is a PhD student at Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. He graduated from Brown University with B.S. in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science and M.S. in Computer Science.
His research interests are autonomous mobile robot exploration, multi-robot systems, and semantic mapping. He is currently working on open-set semantic navigation and map-prediction-empowered exploration.
