Azarakhsh joined Airlab in 2016 as an MSR student and continued to Ph.D. in Robotics in 2017. He graduated in May 2022 and joined Robotics AI at Amazon as an Applied Scientist. His research expertise is on pushing robots towards real-world applications. In his graduate studies he had a deep dive on a range of topics including control, vision, estimation and planning and his current focus is at the intersection of learning, vision and motion planning. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Electronics Engineering and Software Engineering.
